Sept. 9th 2002 fall out shelter..with the LATE B.P. Helium, and the Visitations..
wow this was a blast of a night! A real small crowd but they were such a cool crowd.. Led by Mona, and Matt, and Carl...  BP and band was fantastic, they were super rocking and just really fun to watch.. Brian is the nicest cat in the world too. Visitations put on a screamly good set too, I liked it a lot!  the highlight of the show for me was when members of BP and the visitations joined us on stage for Rise and Fall.. Hell Casper  was playing drums, BP trumpet, Natalie hit Davey  from Fable Factory and visitations in the balls with her tamberine it was great!

so you missed three shows when the computer went down so I will tell you about all three at once... First at the Botanical center with Senator Kelly and the Envy Corps it was nuts, we dedicated the show to Mona and Wille and they got the whole crowd dancing and romancing!!! There was even a pig pile infront of the stage!! 10 out of 10...
then the acoustic showcase we had fun, played to a whole bunch of people and yeah it was great 8 out of 10
then to the fall out shelter with lots of people again this was the green party comp.. EVERY ONE WAS dancing and sweating all over each other it was the craziest fun we ever had, Ryan from Argos, and Jeremy from Organ Donor even played with us and it was crazy.. probably a 15 minute  version of Rise and fall this was the best thank you guys who was ever there 10 out of 10!!! thank

submisson by prf, show was at the FIREBALL espresso in Minneapolis/ St. Paul. AUG, 4, 2002...
So we woke up this morning ready to rock, the record stores so we hit LET IT BE records and Nat bought a DVD about Syd Barret's first trip.. (wish we had a DVD player) and dev got a bunch of new cd's... then we went to the world Famouse SUN's ROCK N ROLL items ready to barder for our nations best / dirty rock goods, but none of us found anything worth fighting over! well onward we traveled until we found a mall that had a MARS musicians planet store in it, so we messed around on guitars, drum kits, banjo's, keyboards and microphones for quite awhile.. Nat even got some bridal shopping in! then we went and ate at some Ribs place where Don says they need one in ames, Joe t. got a bloody nose and I got hit by the thing that holds the menues! the bands two worst injuries of the weekend came in the restarant anyway! So then we went and Bought school supplies for a needy child from Minneapolis, (we should win a nicest band of the year award for that one) so onto the show, the Fireball rocks so does its staff, PAT was super cool and the sound man john was great too, anyway we play with a couple of cool minneapolis bands, and EXIT DRILLS from Cedar Falls who had us dancing til the cows came home! So our show rocked I thought Dev, rocked really hard, and Nat really got into the action of things Joe T, was quite wild too, and Don shit has his own riser! It was a blast a super fun show, we ended both minneapolis shows with SHABAMI!!! sorry sami.
the ride home was long but pretty fun playing scatagories of names of bands, albums, and Movies.....
results Dev knows his bands, joe t. his movies, and patrick his albums!
Don knows how to drool when he sleeps and Nat did homework! anyway show rating 9 out of 10 it was just a fun weekend

submisson prf,,, show was august 3, 2002 at the Garage in Minneapolis.. the trip up was fun our first full band trip in the van and it rocked, everyone got to drive except me, This show was fun, we played to a crowed that has never seen us and I think we went over well! the Garage was a cool joint, 2 nice stages and everything. We met some cool people and some young girls had their eyes on Joe T. While we were playing there was a tornado warning so our crowed double cause we were playing in the small room! After the show, we ate some down home cooking and went to crash at Nat's aunts gazillion dollar house and drank free Diet Coke! Don would not sleep with Devin and I, he is such so homo-phobic, and Joe t. complained about being so cold the whole night!! Don ended up sleeping on the floor nat took his couch and he said and I quote, " God, this blanket is the best thing I have ever bought."
show rating 8 out 10!

submisson by prf, show was aug, 2 2002, Lost cause's final show, I thought this show rocked all the way up and down, all the bands were great, including the Zach H. experence... submission by prf,, show on KURE 88.5 FM on July 24, 2002
Well this show was fun cramming all of us into a tiny radio station, with full amps, drums, and vocal effects.. We had no monitors so it was pretty crazy and loud in the room, but It sounded good, how it sounded on air well thats a different story... Chopper 13 was great though, and Carl, Tracy, and Randy rock for having us!
show rating 6 out of 10

submission prf  show 7-22-02 Ames Farmers Market..
wow this was fun, me, don, and dev were pretty awful but there was a cool crowed and we got, cookies and pumpkin bread and all sorts of stuff from people! I think there is some pumpkin bread still lodge in my tube that goes from my throat to my stomac but what have you!  I thought Good Morning was fantastic  don played sax it dev got out the horn and it was cool, I like the song we have never played live before to, that Nat sings but she was working! that all

submision by prf The Fall Out Shelter July 4th, 2002...
wow this was a hot one, no air, and I bet the heat index on stage was 110 but it was a blast to play the new dive that is the Fall out Shelter!! We played first which was cool, but we only had two mic stands so it got a bit crazy, I ended up yellin alot, but a cool crowed and I thought we played super good, a really rocking set..

So this was our first time in Sioux City, Nat's hometown and it rocked Lots of people, cool venue, and we played pretty good, Devin was getting rowdy with a guy up front and i happened to be gettin roudy with a blind guy! I didn't know he was blind, we sold lots of t-shirts, and got asked back so I think it was a good show, we got to play with a band called Volta Da Mar, from Chicago who were good, but what have you! I had a very fun show, and I think Nat had fun with her whole fam there! and you could hear the vocals! HOW BOUT THAT!

Submission by PRF,   show June 21, 2002 Botanical Center, Des Moines, IA
Well this was the first show I have ever played in the pretty much complete dark but it was a blast, Don rocked!  Rise and Fall was maybe the best we ever played it, as was She's got better things to do/chopper 13!  really noisy show, my ears hurt a lot when we were done!  Nat told me it was a good amount of wildness, I thought it was too, great show! We got to play with Argos, Road to Ruin, Twistin Trees, and Parralex all who had great shows too,!  just a great night!
show  rating 8 out of 10

submission by prf,  show was May 29, Johnston, IA

submission prf.  show was May 25, the Botanical Center with Elf Power and Masters of the Hemisphere!
well the highlight of the show for me was Elf's set, but I will talk about ours a little, of we screwed up our new one which is called, "the moon softly recedes, turning spinning flowers back into seeds."  but It was all good, we all had a good time and nothing was broken, and the light show was groovy. Natalie hit dev pretty hard with her floot, and Don said no to a beer, and Joe t. slept off his long day in Iowa City. But all and all it was a fantastic long day... show rating 9 1/2 out of 10  thanks to the elfs!

submission prf 4-12-02 at House of Bricks, in Des Moines, IA.
So we played with Lost Cause and Argos both who really rocked, I think it was Argos best show that I have seen, stupendist. He closed the night with a pretty rocking performance! We had Jeremy G. fill in for don and he was a pretty good sloppy  replacement.  and most of his drums we all over the stage be the end of the night! We scared a boy with a camera, lots of people were singing a long, i did a head stand, Nat got mad at me, joe t. was tired, devin put down his guitar and tackled me, jeremy g wipped some drums around.. pretty cool crowed and Jimmy the sound man, and Sami spent there b-days with us, oh and we did a tribal shabami . anyway 7 1/4 out of 10

submission by prf...5-3-02 at the Library in Ames,,,
man it was another pretty long show! but fun the crowed was really cool and there must have been atleast 30 people doing the Shabami! or as one gal called it the Shapami! (her name was pam) anyway some kid said to natalie this money I'm using to buy a cd was going to go for a WEEZER shirt tommorow and then he said but this is more important! Gee thanks! I got kissed by every member of the band except Don, who was drunk at 3 in the afternoon but sobered up for the show, but he wore an afro and kinda looked like he was in SLY and the Family Stone! anyway Natalie hit devin really hard in the face, Joe picked me up and ran around the room, don was phil spectors studio drummer and devin rose from the dead!   7 out of 10

submisson by prf...arpril 28th, 2002 at the M-shop..
this was a great show, MAtt Denner made a great host! and we played an epic GBV style set, but it was really good, Don had a little Kieth moon in him for a bit and She got better things to do was the best ever! Joe t. had some killer bass against the mic, and him and Don thumb wrestled! I think don won, Devin broke some more of his guitar and nat told me i should have taped my shoe! anyway 9 out of 10
sorry to Carl who I accidently spat a lugi on

submisson by prf,,,the reverb in Cedar falls, April 27, 2002...
we got to play with two really great bands! Circle of willis and A is jump bother were quite good, and we played right in the middle! We had a good time it was a pretty crazy show, I jumped on Joe t, who hit a bass mic off the stage wich made devin hit me into natalie and made our keyboard fly about 5 feet! And i thought don was good, he had a few! Drunk girl signed the mailing list. she wrote down everything from her address phone and social sercuity number but didn't put down her e-mail.... 8 out of 10

submission by prf....April, 26, 2002 at COOL Beans in Des Moines, IA..
So Natalie quote for this one was, "I would rather have people yell that they hate us, then people not care one way or the other!" and it was kinda true we were pretty rocking that night! We had a great show and the people there just didn't care, hell we even had the bubble machine rolling! I think we had fun though, best parts of the show devin hitting down in the face with a shoe, and natalie hitting devin in the buns with a flute 7 out of 10 crowed 2 out of 10

submission by p.r.f----show was april 20, 2002 Taiste of Veisha stage! in ames..  Well Saturday's marked the return of the poison control center to Campus town's taiste of veisha stage.. It was a splendid time had by all!  Again closeing with Shabami it can't be a bad show when that happens. All though Joe t. got drilled in the head after the show by nat and a flying keyboard but he escaped injury during the performance well patrick almost dropped and amp on his head, man all the day before he turned 23! Don, rocked! Deven Made Shabami psychadelic and Nat hit patrick real hard with a tamberine also she sang fantastic so good all around show! 9 out of 10

submission by p.r.f------M-shop, Ames, IA with SCHATZI....<> so SCHATZI was great. they were really loud and tight, and did really well!  they were very cool too, well I thought it was a pretty boring PCC show but I did break my guitar again some how, and Devin head locked natalie so that was pretty cool! Joe did some sweet dancing and DON had some new beats and broke some sticks but thats about all I remember some one else could maybe tell you more, 4 out of 10
